facilitating collaborative & innovative training for mining in BC
This is a unique opportunity for students across BC to start a mining technology and engineering career that can lead to meaningful and rewarding employment in the industry. Students will start the first year of the pilot program close to home and then transfer to BCIT to complete the remainder of their training.
Virtually all technical jobs within mining and mineral exploration require post-secondary education. The collaborative program will help deliver specialized training across the province and ensure that those who are interested in the mining jobs have better access to education.
