Nicole has broad industry experience starting her career as a project geologist in northern Saskatchewan and working for both BHP Billiton and her current employer Teck Resources. She has experience with local government as a town councillor in Langham, Saskatchewan prior to moving with her family to Kamloops, British Columbia.
Nicole is skilled in economic development, negotiation, corporate social responsibility, communications and engagement planning.
Nicole is of mixed Métis/Cree and European ancestry and is also the Founder and Chair of the Indigenous Women’s Business Network, a non-profit agency established to support and empower Indigenous women in British Columbia to succeed in business.
